Default 944S Hot start, stall

I have an 87 944S and now that the nice weather is returning I am beginning to have some hot start problems. When I go to start the car in the morning everything starts up fine, however during warm days in the sun, if I shut the car off it has a tough time staying running. It will start up fine, but the tach will immediately dip 1000rpms and stall out. Some times it seems the DME is able to bounce back and correct it’s idle, however if it doesn’t the car will stall if I don’t give it gas.

My idle is normally a little rough anyways. I was thinking it maybe a temperature sensor that sends info to the DME. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated before I start buying parts and changing them out. Would the O2 sensor be a factor as well? Thanks in adv for any responses

the idle stabilizer valve/isv is under the intake manifold, could be dirty or need replacing.[:-]

Malfunctioning O2 sensor might also cause you some hot start issues.
