Aston Martin Rapide vs Porsche Panamera

 

About what I expected, and very similar to the situation with Carrera vs Vantage comparisons that led to my having my current car: the Porsche is actually the faster when judged by numbers, but the Aston is more fun to drive. Also one cannot neglect two advantages the Aston in this cmparison and a Carrera-Vantage comparison: looks (as observed in this video, one is ugly, the other gorgeous) and quality of materials and assembly - while Porsche is quite good there, Aston Martin is as good as it gets.
