911 Broken Window
I recently bought a new 2008 Porsche 911 4S Convertible. When it had 450 miles on it the driver's sidewindow exploded on me when I was driving it. There was nothingelse around me when this happened so nothing hit the window. Thecar feels to me like it has avibration. I notified Porsche corporate who sent it to Porsche Orlando. The exploding glass caused paint and interior damage to the car.Porsche sounded somewhat open to fixing the car and paying a dimenished value claim. Then Porsche of Orlando reported back to them they do not believe the carhas mechanical issues but they can't offer any suggestions as to why the glass exploded. I have had a lotof cars and a driver's side window should not just break on its own. Has anyone heard ofa similar story? Maybe a defective piece of glass? I heard someone with a Cayman in Naples hada similarproblem andPorsche replaced that car. That is what I was hoping for.Disappointed by Porsche's attitude, they told me to turn it into insurance. I would just get it fixed and auction it but now it has lost substancial value with paint work needing to be done.

RE: 911 Broken Window
I've heard of it happening when closing the doors together, but never driving down the road. (Sure some kid didn't shoot at you with a BB gun, lol.......i say that from experience).
