Hi - Does anybody have experience of shipping Porsche's from the US to the UK.</P>


My question is regarding transportation, more on the viability of converting from left hand drive to right - Indeed is this possible/practicle. If maintaining left hand drive, how have users found this when driving in the UK??</P>


Guess I'd also be concerned about resale value when in the UK. Just how easy would it be to sell a second hand left hand drive car over there??</P>


Any hints or tips would be appreciated. May be heading for home soon and I don't want to sell the motor (Box S)!!</P>

I was asking a friend whose brother went to school in England. He had an older American car (I think it was a Dodge Super Bee) that he did not want to leave behind. According to my friend, his brother spent over $2K USD to ship the car to England but did not do any conversions to it. Apparently he had no problems driving it even though the steering wheel is on the left side and UK is right sided.
As far as selling goes, I cannot help you but I hope this little information will help you.
