Oops, went back and reread my initial response and my paints were backwards, lol.
The second paint job is definitely not a Porsche paint (or at least not one from a turbo of that year). Midnight blue metallic is a very deep blue color, and lapis is quite deep as well:
This is Lapis blue metallic (probably the most commonly seen):
Cobalt Blue Metallic (also available in 04), but a rare color option.
Midnight Blue Metallic:

Wow hmmm great lol... Yea see it was definetly suppose to be the Midnight blue metallic. That color looks great in the sun. What I have now looks more like Lapis blue pearl in the first 2 photos, but once it gets out in the sun, it has a different shade like you mentioned. Im gonna have to try and pick his brain some and see what he come up with. Do you think if he didnt do the pearl that it could have changed the color of the Lapis Blue Pearl that much that it would give it the big difference in color change? I love the color that I have when its at night in the garage under the flourescent lights, but not so much when its under the sun.
