Default 1983 944 Coil issue

1983 Porsche 944 2.7 I4 (NA) Auto Trans (sad i know)

Any way i baught it with a bad head gasket braught it to a shop they
changed the head gasket afterward how ever when running the oil light
and rad fans were running constently so i told them to fix their screw
up how ever during their "repairs" they screwed up some wiring literally
blowing the top of the coil off! This also took out the computer. They
replaced the coil and computer however now she don't run.

The issue is that i have power to the coil however no power comes out of
the coil to the distributor, I have replaced the RPM & Speed sensors,
the air intake sensor (computer need signal from all of these before it
will alow it to spark) and yet still No SPARK! The engin is grounded i
did check that.. Any ideas? I have over 8 grand into this car i can't
not fix it and whats worse the shop that i braught the car too, went out
of business over night and the owner moved out of country!! I can't even
sue the bastard!!

Hmm interesting dilema. 83's are 2.5L engines BTW. Have you checked your ignition switch? How do the S&R harness wires to the DME look? I am assuming there is no tac bounce when cranking the engine over. Have your replaced your dme/fuel pump relay?

Default Fuel relay

Yes i have replaced the fuel relay, still no spark. Your right there is no PRM bounce when cranking. I'll check the harness over this afternoon.

Next I would double check to make sure they replaced the computer with a good DME.
