i am looking at a 83 944 it is being sold really cheap the only thing that i can see wrong with it is that the wire harness from the comp to the engine has shorted somewhere and the harness is cooked...was wondering if anyone kew what could cause this and where i could find a new harness... i am very new to porsche so any help would be great

 

You can pick up used harnesses on ebay for about 50-100 bucks. New is out of the price range, trust me, lol.
