Default Help! - Just bought my 1st Boxster, strange rattle ??

I hope someone can help. I am in the UK, and have a 1999 Boxster.

It has developed a metallic rattle (back left corner of the car) when driving over bumpy roads. (Sounds like beer bottle tops in a bag). I have taken it to my garage, and they cannot find the source of the rattle.

Has anyone any experience of this problem ??

New to this forum, so any help most appreciated ! []

My brother had the same mettalic rattle on the back and we couldnt find the source for a long time.. One day he decided to take out the spare tire attached to the back underneath the car to reduce weight and sure enough some one (previous owner or mechanic) left a screw driver inside the spare tire housing and it would bounce around here and there.. It could be something loose

Thanks for that, checked front and rear and cannot find anything that should'nt be there ?

As mentioned, the garage has had the car up on ramps, and been all over and cannot find the noise?

I am sure its not major, and that someone has had the same problem before.

Cheers
