Default Transporting some Porsche engines

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine needs to transport these two engines across town:

--------------------------------------------
1997 Porsche Boxster engine

2.5-liter dual-overhead-cam 6-cylinder

--------------------------------------------

2000 Boxster Engine

2.7-liter displacement and 217 horsepower

--------------------------------------------

What would be the best way to do this? Should I get an engine stand and throw it in the back of a truck? Should I build a jig on a shipping palette?

This is probably a stupid question but I have never transported an engine and don't want to damage these.

Thanks!

D

Lay them in the back of the truck and strap them down good and drive across town. As long as they don't go sliding across the bed or roll over, you will be fine.
