MAF conversion for 944NA
Hi all.
I'm having a hard time finding an affordable (realatively speaking, lol) MAF conversion for a 1986 944NA. Can somebody pelase direct me to the right place. I've tried google and searching the forums, but I;m not really pulling up the answers I need. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...

RE: MAF conversion for 944NA
ProMax IIRC is the company doing the MAF conversions for the NA. They are around 900-1000 IIRC. There is no cheap conversion i am afraid. New maf sensors alone run about $400, then you have the parts to make the conversion, time for R&D, etc.

RE: MAF conversion for 944NA
Hi there
Hey thanks for the info. I did find out somethinh that you might want to be aware of though. ProMAX is no longer listing their MAF, instead The part is only sold at http://www.maxhpkit.com/ Oh, and the price right now is 800-1000 depending on if you want their chip with it or not.
I was hoping that there were some other companies working on these, but at the moment no. Looks like a Miller performance cars is going ot have a new model ready by next year, its supposed to be a little cheaper.
Hopefully that is helpful to other s as well. I deffinitly plan on getting one of these as soon as I can afford it. I'm doing a custom intake setup and this is really the chokepoint as far as I can tell.
Anybody out there have any other ideas for intakes?
