HELP.....need advice on buying 911 models!
Hi all,
I drive a 2009 c2s and love it.
However, having driven it for about 18 months, I have decided I want more 911s. So, after much research, I have decided that I would like the following cars:
1. 1970s 911 (would prefer coupe S, but that seems expensive, not sure what I should buy, but have about 30-40k budget)
2. Later 1980s 930. Like one in white or silver. Same kind of budget.
3. 1993/4 RSA, definitely in silver, lower mileage. Probably 40k for this.
4. 993 C2S or C4S. Prefer with aero kit rear spoiler. Probably black, silver or white.
So, here are my questions that I hope the forum can answer:
I have found a complete restoration 1973 911T coupe. It is in a beautiful metallic gold color. Is this a good model/color as an investment? Am I better off waiting for an S, instead of going for a T?
Am I missing any car that would be a better choice in my reasonable price range?
I found a great looking 1971 S but the engine is not the original. Should I be worried about this from a future value standpoint? It is about the same price as the superb 911T....
Help from experienced forum members would be appreciated, as I am newer to this and the older 911s is a new passion for me.
Thanks
Nathan
