Default sold the Vet now want a 911

Sold my C5convertible in April and am bummed everytime I look at the empty space in my garage. I am just starting to look for a 911. I have about 40K to spend. This will be my first Porsche, is there anything I should be aware of while looking? Any advice to give to a new guy? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Look around and buy what you want and can afford. Me? I decided to keep the 'vette, too. Bottom line is that in a day to day world the 'vette just has much more power (torque, particularly) than any Porsche (yeah, I know, mine is modified to 800 ft lbs, but the stock 400+ is, like, way more than any stock Porsche sports model

Hey Rock,
1st. U made the right decision of junkin the vette! Caus Carrera's eat vette's for breakfas, lunch & dinner. Now, about a pors. U 'll have to go w/ a 911. Q. do u want a sports/ race feel or a cumfy feel ride? Its all about older or newer 911's. I myself prefer the sportsy/ racy car feel & handling; nothing like it! aircooled 911. u want cumfy go w/ anything watercooled. Porsman5 out! [sm=shades.gif]
