Default Walnut Creek Euro Meet Saturday Oct 6 !

Well it's official the Walnut Creek Euro meet is a go ! After careful planning and driving around for the perfect spots. [race]

At 10am meet at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek. We plan on taking up the section that's near the Macy's end (less cars).

At 12 we will begin our cruise to the Mt. Diablo Summit. Like in our previous post there are a few things your really need to keep in mind.
- This road is extremely twisty and there are NO guardrails around the turns. Please know your limits and be carful.
- This road is also used by cyclists so please share the road and be polite. If you see an oncoming cyclist let the person behind you know by putting on your lights or something.
-Have fun. Again this road is extremely twisty all the way to the top !

Now depending on how long it takes all of us to reach the summit. We have another twisty route down that'll take us through Danville and from there we'll hop the highway back to Broadway Plaza.

We plan on being back at Broadway Plaza @ 3pm or alittle early for Happy Hour at Stanford's. Their happy hour menu ranges, everything is either 2 or 3 bucks. If your very hungry they have an excellent dining area. http://www.stanfords.com/index.cfm?f...&pageID=83 link to their menu. From there if anyone has alittle more cruise left in them I can think of some more fun spots.

Again quick details;

Saturday Oct 6 @ 10am - Meet at Braodway Plaza in Walnut Creek
12 - Cruise to Mt. Diablo Summit
3 - Meet back @ Broadway Plaza (Happy Hour!)
