Default 2001 996tt mods added w/ check engine lt

Well i just got back me 2001 996tt back and went with k-24 turbos, evo v-flow intake, k-24 giac ecu, billet diverter vlvs, upgraded intercoolerpiping kitand max speed k-24 header/exhaust system. love the performace but can do without the check engine light that just came on after a couple of hundred miles. Ive been doing a little research and it seems to me the mass air flow sensor or oxygen sensor. Are the the same item? Can the problem be fixed or is it something that the mods did that one has to get use to. Like to get some input before talking to the shop. The shop also did a tuneup and the car has only 18,000 miles on it. Thanks Walt

YOu need to get the codes read down and see what the problem is first. It probably is a maf sensor OR an oxygen sensor, but the codes will help determine that. Is the filter on the Evo box oiled?

Yeah, i agree with Doc, the 02 sensor might be it, because my friends s2/civic/rx7/evo ect. all had the same problems. He just added more lenght to the sensor so it wouldnt read as much air flow and it took care of the problem.
