Default 997 C4S windscreen crack - new car

Took the cover off my 997 C4S tonight and I noticed a crack running from the centre top of windscreen through my rain sensor. [:@] My car has 1500km on the clock, delivered mid-May 2008. No impact caused it, the car had been sitting for 10 days covered in my carport. Has anybody else made such a warranty claim? I realise the windscreen is an important structural element for a cabrio. Is there anything I should look out for regarding the repair. Thanks

For the record, if it ever happens to you. Porsche were fantastic. I was advised it is a rare event, though no real explanation of why.The dealer took a photo. A couple days later I was advised of approval from Porsche under warranty. The workshop changed the screen within a day. I can't tell it had been changed.
