Aftermarket Navigation

RE: Aftermarket Navigation
I have the same question , I have been told the Porsche Navigation system will not work , but it is basically the same body , so at the least you could buy the radio navigation module from a 2005 , should fit in just fine . I have seen in photos online that clarion seems to fit in well , but i would like to use the porsche navigation if possible .

RE: Aftermarket Navigation
I have found a Used (Original) 2004 Navigation Unit on ebay for my Carrera that sold for nearly $1.5k.
Will that unit work..?
Do I need anything else to make the unit work?
It seems like the wiring harness is similar as mine.
Is there anything else besides the actual unit to make the nav. system work?

RE: Aftermarket Navigation
just had a Kenwood system installed with Nav, Sirius, AM.FM. Local install, only issue was moving AC control to bottom of electronic stack but not a huge poblem. Looks and works great. Far superior to the Porsche unit in my opinion.
