Default RE: buying a 911

My favorite was the 1979 911SC Targa, mine was Petroleum Blue with a Cork interior, they have a 3.0l bullet proof engine(I put over 200,000 miles on my engine before it was rebuilt), a decent 915 gearbox (mine had a 7:31 ring gear & cooler) and they're easy to work on when compared to the new generation 911's.
The market is a bit soft on these cars (70's Targa's) so you should be able to find one at a good price, Good hunting.
