I new to the forum (one previous post) but I recently boughta 996TT and couldn't be happier. It has 19k miles, full carbon fiber pack and its artic silver. I found it on a consignment lot for 68.5 and was able to get it for 63.5. The only complaint I had with the car was that it lacked some of the power my Z06 had, so after much reserch I decided a tune would be my first mod. It seems these cars are under tuned. After talking to some tuners in southern and northern ca. I decided to gowith a company called Vishnu, although they seemed to specialize in japanese cars they are doing incredible stuff with the bmw 335TTs with their Proceed tune. I also wanted a custom dyna tune not an off the shelf generic flash. So after changing out my blow off valves (stock ones leak with increased boost) we were on the dynameter and were able to pull over 420 ft-lbs to the wheels. But the amazing thing is the boost increase, my car went from stock boost of 7 to 15. The car is now the way it should have been from the factory, it's feels as fast or faster than my Z06 or SRT10 viper. Iabsolutly love it and highly recomend Vishnu to anyone considering a tune.
