Sticky Speedometer
Has anyone had experience with a sticky speedometer?
I have an '86 911, and when the car is stopped thespeedo obviously reads 0 mph. When i begin to accelerate the speedometer remains at zero. With only the slightest tap on the glass covering the speedo gauge - the needle will then jump to life.
Could this be a loose connection of the speedo gauge? Has anyone removed the speedo gauge from the dash? Is this difficult to do?
Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks!
Tyler.

RE: Sticky Speedometer
Just pull on the gauge, it will come out of the dash. You can check the connections on it, but I am guessing you will need to send it to North Hollywood Speedo for repair.
