Too good to be true?
Hey,
So, I'd like to buy a Porsche 911 from the 80's era. I just LOVE the design, power, etc... Always has been a dream of mine to drive one of those beauties.
Can anyone tell me if these cars listed below are safe to buy and if not, what should I look for? I obviously want something reliable, but in the 15K - 20K range. Or is that just not possible? [8D]

PS: I'm in LA. So any tips on where to look would be very appreciated.

RE: Too good to be true?
It's impossible to look at a picture of a car and say if it's good or bad... However the price range you have in mind should get you a good example... Do some research, there are alot of books and plenty of people around that will assist you in your search.. Drive as many as you can, and when you find the car you'reinterested in get a PPI. The model years you selectedare usually very reliable, but as with most cars problems can arise. A good PPI should identify them, and help with your decision... Good Luck.
