Value of 1981 Porsche Turbo
I realize I need to post in the classified section, but need help first.
I am new to this forum. I own a 1981 Porsche Turbo since it was new, and other than air pump to meet smog requirements, it is as it was when imported by ship in 1981 (when no trubos were sold in U.S. ). It's exterior is red and inteior black and is in great shape (cracking windshield and some front chips are it). The turbo was replaced and extenssive transmission and lower end work has been completed less than 3,000 miles ago. At present it shows 75,000 kilometers on the odometer.I now own several cars and don't drive it anymore. It is stored in a friends basement in San Diego. I only drive it to keep the battery charged and motor warmed up.
I have no idea what it would be worth and need help determing its value, before posting it for sale.
Apologies for using this space to "advertise", but I have no idea how to even price the car let alone advertise it for sale.
Can anyone be of assistance.
Thank you.

RE: Value of 1981 Porsche Turbo
The car has never been in an accident. The car is in great condition (except for cracking windshield from age and a "few", as in not many, frontal chips). The car has been owned by me since new and has been cared for by a "car guy". It was my first "major" car purcahse and for years was treated likea child. As years have gone on, I attend to other things, but the car has never been abused. It is fast and light weight and whatever they sell for it would be at the top of the range.
I was hopingsomebody would know about pricing. I have seen in Autoweek and other magazines offer examples, but since there are so few, it is hard to tell (who knows if the person was selling a piece of junk?)
I would appreciate price ranges and if you might know where best to post this for those interested in purchasing a car.
Thank you.

RE: Value of 1981 Porsche Turbo
I posted in Classifieds and saw similar numbers.
Did not realize it is worth so little. Considering you cannot by a Yaroz or KIA for under $15,000, it is simply too fast and too much fun to sell for that. I rather pay storage and take it for a ride once in awhile. However, I do very much appreciate the helpful response.
Thank you
