1980 Porsche 924 Distributor Igntion Type?
Hi, Next week or so Ill be buying a 1980 Porsche 924 and I have done hours of searching but cannot find out WHAT KIND of ignition the distributor uses! Meaning, under the distributor, a lot of older cars have points and a condensor. Whenever they have these, I replace them with an Electronic Igniton like this:

It basically removes the need to adjust the dwell and points and so on because the computer chip adjusts automatically. It helps increase power spark and everything basically. You can read about it in the link above. So my question is, does the porsche come with an early version of this? Or should I purchase and install one myself?
Thanks for any help!
