how to open a 928s without key?
Unfortunately I left my keys in the ignition and slammed the doors shut. For some odd reason both doors and trunk locked up leaving me standing there.
After I gave the chassis number to my Porsche dealer, I received a new key but it won’t open the doors, won’t even fit in the keyhole! Apparently doors or locks have been replaced by formers owner(s).
Any idea how to open this 1982 Porsche 928S with as little damage as possible?

Hmm, how much is a window worth?
Not windshield though, uhh lets see.
Close hanger in window? That normally does it for me. Different cars will vary though.
Hmm, you can pay like $20 for a key guy to come get it open.
Embaressing! []

If anyone knows how to break in to a Porsche without smashing a window, then I susgest that you keep it to yourself! It's not very clever to advertise how to do these things on the internet. Not unless you would like to have your Porsche nicked?[:@]

You are absolutely right! On the other hand: there is little to fear. I discovered that the 928 has a steel box around the entire lock mechanism. Therefore, clothes hangers and so on won’t do the job. That means I will haven to smash or remove one of the windows and spend a lot of money (the spare key that didn’t fit cost me already $69. Thank you for your reaction!

You can't open a 928S without a key and breaking a window is just too expensive... How did you get the doors to lock? I slammed my keys (Both Sets) under the back hatch while on vacation in Florida... Had to order a new key from Germany and had to retrieve the car six weeks later... No lock smith will touch this car the armoring is just too hard to penetrate... Sorry
