1983 944 air condioner question
My 83 944 had a new compressor and clutch assy installed about nine years ago and it had run perfectly until last year. It still runs well, no strange noises or warning lights, and the bubbles show up in the sight gauge, but the air is only slightly cool. I'm in Connecticut and can't find anyone that will add the old R12 refrigerant. Can R12 be added or does the unit need to be converted to use R134a or R1234yl?
