Default 2 way power seat switch repair

Hi guys.

So I finally got around to fixing my power seat. I know the motors are good, I just tested them. I know the fuse and wiring is good. It has to be the switch. The front switch is broken while the rear is OK. I pulled one out today and looked at it. What exactly can go wrong on it. I could not figure out how to determine how to fix it. Its clearly broken as it just does not feel like the other one. Anybody know how to diagnose or rebuild this thing?

Thank you...

More than likely you just need to replace it. You can try resoldering the joints on the switch, sometimes that works, sometimes it does not. Just get a soldering iron hot enough to melt the solder and that is usually all it takes.
