Default 83' 944 fuel pump relay location

Its getting warm and I want to take my 944 out of the garage but she wont start. I tried almost everything the engine turns over fine...but its not getting gas. I jumper'd the fuel pump and it works fine..so its not the fuel pump. I want to check the fuel pump relay but i cant find it. Anyone know where it is? Any other suggestions?

thanks in advance

Under the dash on the drivers side. Check the fuse for the fuel pump as well at the DME relay. Let me know if you need me to get the manual out and look up the position on the fuse block, relay panel for you.

Thanks for the info...i thought the relays we're up under there, Its REALLY hard to get at them, and my shop manual doesnt say wich relay is for the fuel pump, i did check the fuse and its ok. I guess ill have to try and pull all of the relays out!

It *should be* the second relay (going from left to right) on the top row of the relay panel, and should have a black plastic cover. I say "should be" because the relay sockets are removable and I have run into enough 944's where previous owners have messed around with it and not gotten the sockets back in the correct order.

Keep us posted!
