i think there might be something wrong with my DME temp sensor and i would like to know how to test it, also my belts always squeak, especailly when the headlights etc are on, any ideas why that could be? ive replaced it a couple times and still does it.
thank you

If the belts are squeaking, it is probably because they are loose and need to be tightened using the turnbuckles.

DME temp sensor can be tested by ohming it out when at a certain temp. To be honest with you, the sensor is about 18 bucks, and if you don't know the history of it, I would replace it anyway. It will take less time to just replace it, than to test it, making sure the temps are exactly correct to get a certain reading, etc.

Typically a bad DME temp sensor will lead to rough running when cold.
