If you're a student, then NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You need time to study and not to worry about having twenty different problems to deal with every weekend. It sucks to be stranded, especially so, when you have to turn in an assignment by a certain time. It is worse to have to worry about how to get the car off of the road and to a place where you can work on it. It can take up a WHOLE lot more time than you may think.

I would like to add to my prior response; while the car may be a nuissance, it is extremely fun and rewarding to drive. The question for you revolves around your situation; if you are anticipating having the Porsche as your only means of transportation then steer clear. However, if you will have another dependable method of getting around should problems arise, and you are willing to put forth the effort and time than the Porsche is certainly worth it.

hey buddy, i replied earlier telling you to go for it, and im here again to tell you that since i posted that last theread, my 944 was totalled. the insurance company gace me more than twice what i paid for it, and i got to keep the car. it wast even that badly damaged, although that does say something about how much porsche parts(especially if theyre dealer)/body work costs. BUT i am proud to day that after much searching and disappointment, i found another 944 and this one is an s2. i love them, theyre dependable (assuming you dony buy a piece of junk) they look good, and they're so much fun to drive! and like i said i am a full time student and i have a fulltime job.
