Brake upgrade
Hi everybody
So I was wondering... Do the larger brakes found on the Turbo version fit on the same year NA version. I found some used Turbo calipers and would love to have that upgrade. My car is a 1986 NA.
My second question is about the Brake Master cylinder. I need to replace or rebuild this. It is the Girling make. Any advise on either where to get a rebuild kit, or should I go for New or rebuilt and if so where should I get that? I was thinking of a used one from DC Automotive.
Ok, thank you for your help all....

RE: Brake upgrade
You would have to swap front spindles to make them bolt on. You would still be stuck with the small brakes in the rear, as I believe that spacing is different as well. I am not sure about the rears though.
Replace the master, don't try and rebuild something that keeps you alive. Don't bother with used. Buy new.

RE: Brake upgrade
Hmm, Ok I was thinking that about the Master. I will go with a new one. At this oint anything will be better than the leakey one I have now. Does anybody know where to get a good price on a new one?
So I can go with the new calipers in the front then, I just might think about doing that. I'll let you know how that works out it I descided to do it.
Thanks for the help//
