Default Fuel pump not running, whats wrong?? 944 S2

Hi folks. My S2 had many engine probs (snapped chain, tourettesetc..) so bought a second hand one.

Finally its was allbolted in andthe connectors and pipes etc were on. Sparks fine, starter etc are fine but no fuels coming thru. No whirr from the pump. Took the guard off the tank and tested the connections and..theres no dc. So, in the manual its fuse 34.Thats ok but theres no dc, so at least its likely not a forgotten lead .At this point I just remember there was a connector going into the passenger footwell, a 10 or 12 pin I think, which wouldnt fit the similar one from the immobiliser. Does this mean that this could be a wiring misfit affecting the pumpor nothing to do with that and maybe just the relay?? After all jumper 30 shows dc all the time and 85 and 85b show it when the ignition is on

Often what happens after standing for a long time the pumps stick. Sometime a sharp tap with a hammer is enough to free things with the power on of course.
I do meen a tap not a meaty thump by the way.

Well, if there is no power to the pump then the hammer isn't going to solve anything. Try jumpering your fuel pump relay and see if it kicks on.
