Did you solve your problem yet? If not you shouldjumper the security control box that is attached to the same frame as the DME and is the second most common reason after the fuel pump relay for a non start. And it's very suseptable to water intrusion. Bugs

 

No, I haven't. Did all the 944s come with the security box? I don't think mine has an alarm. I understand that it is about the size of a deck of cards, and i can't seem to find it. I was hoping that it was that simple. I am leaning toward thinking that the DME and KLR that i bought off ebay, that the guy swears was good, isn't.
