Default Here we go again..........

My car won't start again. Ive replaced the Alt. voltage regulator,DME relay, spark plugs, BOTH timing sensors (which was the original problem).I just drove this car from Wisconsin to Tucson, and it ran perfectly except after running it 8-10 hrs, I would shut it off after getting gas or for the night...it wouldn't start till the next day.
Now what?

Does it crank normally when its warm, but just not start, or does it crank faster/slower when it wont start?

Might bethe Fuel Pressure Regulator, fuel pump check valve, or leaking injectors. Any of thesecause the fuel rail pressure to dropquickly after you shut off the engine, the heat from the engine causes the fuel remaining in the fuel railto turnto vapor. If its the injectors youll probably see black smoke when you start it the next day. It could also be the idle stabilizer or O2 sensor, but these normally only effect how hard it is to start not if it will start. Last but not least it could be the alignment of the timing sensors or wire runs from the sensors to the wiring harness. Try shutting it off when its hot and wait about5 seconds to try and restart, if it starts right back up it is probably not the sensors (again).

Its acting like its not getting any gas. Is the fuel pump suppose to vibrate when running? Also it has just aquired a small gas leak comming off the "bubble" on the bottom of the gas tank...is that a sign of something?[/align]

sounds like you need a new fuel filter and pobably a new gas tank. It is the tank that is leaking correct?

One of your fuel lines is probably leaking under that cover, which is very common.
