Default Look at buying a 1983-1985 944

Hey guys,
As a kid, i always admired the Porsche 944. My father had a 1983 944, white, with the beautiful and apparently rare back light that had 'PORCSHE' stamped on the light and black rims. We had that car from 1983 to 1993, my toddler and early child years were with this car, and i absolutely loved the way it stood out. I always wanted to buy this since i was a kid.
However, it would be hard for me to get a good condition one, I was just wondering, is getting parts for this car easy?
I want to buy years between 1983-1985, not the 1985.5, because the dash and interior looks to dull compared to the pre 1985.5 models !
What do you guys think?

If it is hard to get a good condition one, then you need to scrape the idea of getting one at all. There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche. Save up and look at buying a nice example later down the road. I have seen cheap 944's bury people financially.

I really want one, and I am quite aware it would be expensive to keep this car in proper upkeep.
