Default Milling the head

Hi guys just trying to get a good pro and con session going here about milling the head down (slightly) to increase compression in my new project 944(84).Any thoughts?.....

Lol, the pros.....increased compression. The cons....if you go too far, pistons meet valves.

LOL, ok besides the obvious is there any other mods that i should be making to go along with milling the head?,,plug change or octane level in fuel?...just looking to pick some brains here..

Octane change will do absolutely nothing unless you alter the cam timing, and move the pickup sensor plug on the flywheel (both would require extensive modification).

Even milling the head you are not going to notice much change in performance. The NA motors are what they are. You will spend a lot of money trying to get any additional hp out of them.

So your saying leave well enough alone... lol. I get that, just thought i'd try and mess with the new 84 which needs a head gasket and other minor things.I'lljust get it to factory specs and let er ride...thanks.
