My 88' 951
Hey Everybody,
Looking to put a stand alone engine management system on my 88 951. I am running a
Stage III turbo from SpeedForceRacing.com, a Stage III MAF system with Link system from HUNTLEY RACING...whoas youknow is no longer in business.A Tial style wastegate and a few other mods. Basically wanting to get this car back on the streets. Any suggestions to tuning or parts would greatly appreciated. I am already at a disadvantage for tuning options since I live in Mississippi and the market for this kind of build and local tuning is non-existent. Let me know if any other info is needed for more thorough advice. Thanks in advance for any help.

The cheapest way is going to be replace the MAF and Link kit with someone's plug and play MAF and piggyback such as John at Vitesse. A good stand alone system will run upwards of 2500, plus the tuning cost. If you do want to go stand alone, your major options are TEC 3, Motec, and Autronic. None of them are plug and play.

Hey PorscheDoc,
Thanks a lot for the advice. I spoke with John at Vitesse the other day and he really helped me out. I believe he may have gained another customer. He was a lot of help and thanks again for yours. I hope to get my car back on the road ASAP now.
