Hey I got a 87' 944 base model and i want to boost the motor, I wanted to know whats the differnce between my motor and the turbo model as in compresstion, and i want to know if any of you know how much hp my motor is capable of on stock internals.

 

Search is your friend. Unfortunately the short answer is it isn't going to happen. Sell the car and buy a 944 turbo and you will be a lot of money ahead.

 

Porsche Doc is exactly right on that one. I would say another logical option, if you want to keep that car, is to go with a supercharger. SPEEDFORCERACING.com carries them I believe. But, buying a 944 turbo will save you money and be more fun in the end.
