87' 944 turbo runs too rich, won't pass CA smog.

tried computer and air flow meter - computer had after market chip. set back to factory settings.

buddy says maybe rpm sensor(s) on flywheel?

How would you mod a 944 to throw more fuel in than factory spec?

Is it running a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator? If so, might try installing a stock 2.5 bar. Have you tried adjusting the CO on the AFM?

Thanks.

I will check the fuel pressure regulator.

Pardon my ignorance, but does AFM mean air flow meter?
What does CO stand for?
