Default Value of a 1986 944 Turbo....

Hello All,

Thinking of buying a 1986 944 Turbo. 130,000 miles in great conditon. Only thing is the water pump, timing chain, and seals have never been replaced.. Has working A/C and is a 5 speed.

The guys asking 7,800.00 obo. Anyone know what these things usually sell for or what I should look out for?

Thanks!

If he is at 130,000 miles and has never changed the timing belt and waterpump, RUN away. That right there tells you how he maintains his cars. I would bet this will be a nightmare car to own.

Even if it doesn't have any problems 7800 sounds REALLY high to me...
