Whoops! I had a new windshield installed on 2000 Boxter and glass-heinie managed to boink out the left-hand plastic lens covering the infra-red anti-theft cluster top middle of windshield. Any kind soul know of a source. Our dear mfg. wants to sell the whole electronic unit and I don't want to buy it.

I have a recent windshield replace as well and my sensor cover is missing too.
Perhaps if enough Boxsters have the cover missing some one will start making them as a replacement.

 

Best bet is to try one of the parts dismantlers like LA porsche, Parts heaven, etc.

 

I have since found them on Ebay.
very reasonably priced.
I bought 2 becausemy other side has a broken prong and does not fit tight.
