I am looking for some info about the plastic rear window in the boxster, I need a replacement and don't what I should expect to pay. Are there any deals out there? Any of those difficult to find out about places to find one?

Been there done that. I looked everywhere. I ended up paying about $ 700.00 . Best deals I ever heard of are about $ 600.-- . In my case the Porsche Dealer sent it out to a convertible shop and if course the dealer marked up the price.

hey are you looking to re-do the plastic or would u be willing to do glass in the back??

 

take a look at big e-shops like e-bay... you probably want to put plastic again or do you think of changing it into glass... this change would cost you more money i suppose... good luck

 

When I did my Convertible 944 a few years back, plastic window only (not the whole roof) it was about $700.00.

Just recently I got a quote to replace my Boxster's whole convertible roof and plastic, $1100.00 and that was through a friend who works at a convertible top shop. I'd received another, outrageous quote from my mechanic for $1900-$2000.
