Default Porsche Doc! Help! CEL.....

Hi porsche doc, i have a 97 boxster. Recently the check engine light came on with fault codes P1128 and P1130. I sent it in to the authorised prosche dealer here and they could not find out what the problem was. i already changed the air filter. They suspect that either the MAF sensor is bad (they told me low voltage) or i have too much carbon build up..... They have no clue what it is. Could i pls have your take on this? Thanks.... i have bad exp dealing with the dealers here as i feel that they are trying to rip me off. They said they solved the prob and charged me 200 bucks but after leaving the dealership 100m or so the light came on. Sent it back in the next day, took forever for them to check it out and wanted to charge me another 250 bucks without solving the problem.... i hope u can advise me on this. thanks......

1128 and 1130 i believe are two different bank O2 sensor codes, which is indicative of a bad MAF. Odd that the dealer couldn't figure this out. I am slammed at the minute, but let me double check the codes later today, and I will get back to you. Stupid sensor is about $400, but it only takes about 5 minutes to put in.

Yes, your MAF is bad. Bank 1 and Bank 2 O2 sensors are reading low voltage. This is indicative of a bad MAF sensor.
