Default Wife broke boxster top

well it happened, the wife got in, opened the lacth, but not all the way, hit the button, and top top hook caught, and the clamshell opened and closed without the top ever going down, heard breaking, now cannot even get the clamshell to open to see what all broke, how do I open it, its in the closed position, and will not open with the swicth, inside the corners, I see the little pieces of broken red ball sockets, the top will manually move open a little but the clamshell is closed.

Hi if divorce was not so expensive, I would suggest a "New Wife"
I think you will need either to get a Repair Manual say "Haynes" or hope the Porsche Doc comes to your rescue!

Yup, more than likely just the plastic ball sockets on each side broke. Unclip the cables at the rear (also just on ball sockets), undo the rear convertible top flap out of it's catch, and you can push the back of the top up to see the arms and ball sockets. The sockets are all of about 5 bucks each.
