Default Maintenance costs?

Hello, I am currently looking to get rid of my 2006 f150 for a new truck and I was very interested in the Porsche Cayenne. The only concern I have is the maintenance. Someone told me that oil changes are needed to be done directly at the dealership and cost hundreds of dollars. Can someone confirm this for me since I am not to sure I trust this source. T.I.A

Default RE: Maintenance costs?

Well, I can't see why a Cayman would be any different thanmy Carrera. I have my oil changed and routine service done at the local Ford dealer's "QuickLane." Oil change does cost a bit more than most cars because the car takes so much oil (8 or 9 quarts, I think), and I do have to go by the dealer parts counter to get the filters, brake pads, etc., that are unique to the car. Oil change ends up costing me about $70.
