I am headed to school in the fall and need to get a more practical car for the mountains of NC. I am looking for a 2004 R32 but so far no luck so I am opening it up to GTI's. If you have anything else interesting I may be interested.

In the 80's this car was built as a play toy for a PCA member. He owned the best body shop in my town, so you know everything was done right. His name was Jon Greisenbeck. He has been to pebble beach with his show car but this isn't about Jon, its about my 914. I have a document with over $22,000 worth of upgrades and parts done to the car (without labor and the car itself). Now these parts would cost roughly $40,000.

I am headed off to school in the fall and need the money to buy an R32 or something that would be a reliable and fun car to drive to and from college and hang out around the track or autoX.

Here are pics of my '87 944 turbo: I am asking $6500 for it. The head is off the motor and I have $2500 in parts waiting to be put on the car. I am asking $6500 for the car as it sits. I blew the head (which is relatively normal for these cars). The car has around 50k miles on it.






Pics of my dads 944: He is asking $4500 for this car. It is an '84. Im not sure of the miles. Its a solid car.
