1987 911 Carrers Turbo Body M-491
I am thinking of selling this 1987 Turbo Body Carrera it has the M-491 option. Here's my story this is my late wife's car. I lost her to brain cancer in November.
She loved Porsche's and this car was her pride and joy. I am to the point where I am begining tolet goof her belongings. I thought of keeping the car but it has to go. It brings up a lot of memorys that I need to let go.
Back to the car.My wifewas the 2nd owner. It has 153,000 miles on it. The engine was rebuilt at 70,000 miles. Do to lack of service and abuse by the first owner. A leakdown test was done at 130,000 miles and it was at 5 %. She never pushed the car hard. She never red lined it and it has never been hot. The body is clean with no dents or door dings. It has a few chips in the paint and a few scratches. The primer is showing through in 2 spots on the roof where someone was to agressive with a buffer. The interior is fair with no rips in the seats. This is an all original M-491 it has930 calipers,930 trailing arms, Fuchs 16 inch wheels, large wheel wells, 930 turbo sport suspension. It is a complete good running car. It was her daily driver.
This is what it needs. The clutch is weak. CV boots are cracked. Some fuel hoses are cracked but no leaks. Some oil lines are cracked but not leaking.The sunroof needs new cables. The switch for the passenger window is broken. The dash is cracked.
All gauges work. All lights work. A/C works. Heater Works. I would Like to see it in the hands of someone who would fix it up and maintain it. I am asking $ 16,500. I am not desperate or in a big hurry to sell. No trades please.
This car is located in northern Ca about 30 minutes from Sacramento. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. If you are interested send me an e-mail I will be happy to answer questions and I will send you the Vin # so you can confim that it is authentic.

It just passed California smog test and I paid the tags. Tires are new.
