I designed the console with a deeper interior storage base than the original consoles and made them of stronger, molded fiberglass. As you can see, they are also made of carpet fiber interior with a black (only one color) vinyl exterior. The piece is installed via four pre-drilled holes in the bottom and this console fits the 924, 944 and 928 Porsches. It is pictured below in my '87 928 S4.

I made one for my own car, as you can see, and since I went through all that trouble, I decided to make a few more and see if anyone was interested. So thats why I am here :P
